Screamer Distortion - PCB Kit
The SCREAMER is basically a one-chip fuzz / distortion circuit, but with a Tube-Screamer-like equalization boost, compensating for the mid-range dip found in most Fender / Marshall type tonestacks, helping you cut through the mix. A BIAS control lets you adjust output DC level; clockwise centers it for symmetrical clipping; counter-clockwise provides asymmetrical clipping, all the way to the point of noise gating.
The PCB kit includes a blank circuit board and most of the parts that solder to it (plus wire, feet, and a label). You will need to separately purchase the remaining components (enclosure, foot-switch, LED, jacks, pots, knobs). Parts list is included in manual below.
- True bypass
- 20dB maximum gain
- 20mV input, onset of clipping
