Tubifier - Tube Buffer Pedal
TUBIFIER is an always-on vacuum tube buffer providing warmth and tonal enhancement, ideally positioned just ahead of the digital section. It employs a vintage NOS Raytheon 6088 pentode originally designed for battery powered hearing aids and portable radios. This pedal will give your solid-state or digital rig that vacuum tube feel, with compression and a fuller, thicker tone. Not only will TUBIFIER make your playing better, but it can drive 50 feet of guitar cable without any loss of treble. Works great on bass too!

The vacuum tube used in this pedal employs a directly-heated cathode, which makes it not only super-efficient, but also a bit microphonic. Do NOT stomp or bang on pedal case, or tube will ring at approximately 2.9kHz for up to 30 seconds. On a live stage or if playing loud with plenty of acoustic feedback, this pedal may not work for you.
